For the third consecutive year, over the month of November, Flight Club will be bringing you “30 Turkeys in 30 days.” Each day, we will post a review of a different Wild Turkey product. Throughout that journey, we will provide you with background information on the company, the products and the people behind the products, all of which we hope create a better understanding of what Wild Turkey brings to the world of bourbon. A table of contents for each of these posts can be found here.
On day 62 and 63 of Wild Turkey Month 2019, Flight Club posted reviews of the two latest releases in the Whiskey Barons collection – the W.B. Saffell and Bond & Lillard. This year, for the first time in Wild Turkey Month history, we were joined with a guest reviewer, Ryan Alves of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Ryan is a great supporter of Wild Turkey and a great friend of Flight Club. We were thrilled to have him join us.
In the video linked below, Scott Hill, Jamie Baalmann and Ryan Alves review W.B. Saffell, Bond & Lillard, and a Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel pick that new are going to take a look at in Chapter 16 (spoiler alert).
Scott is a co-founder of Flight Club and a frequent writer and reviewer on the Club’s blog.
