Elijah Craig – Central Wine & Spirits Pick (Review by Scott Hill)
Nose: Light peanut and dry oak; light caramel syrup; candy corn; mint; Red Hot candy mixed with red licorice. There is some ethanol on the nose that dissipates with more time in the glass.
Palate: Orange and cherry fruit, cinnamon candy; vanilla; dry oak.
Finish: Medium; lingering hot cinnamon and brown sugar; cocoa and nuttiness return as the spice subsides.
